Nelms Gallery has been designated as one of the top ten places of interest in Newton County. It sits on top of Mount Sherman with a commanding view of the surrounding mountains. The 3400 square foot gallery is filled  with nearly 200 canvas prints of Don Nelms' photography. There are varieties of landscapes, wildflowers, wildlife, and natural abstracts. The grounds have over 4 miles of walking trails, ponds, picnic areas and beautiful views. The inside has a contemporary feel, but on the outside it has a large wrap-around porch perfect for sitting and rocking in the Ozark tradition.
